Kehilah Terms of Service

Welcome to Kehilah. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kehilah app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Kehilah is

Kehilah is a curated content discovery app that surfaces publicly available media (videos, podcasts, posts) from Jewish creators across platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, podcasts, and blogs/RSS, and that lets creators publish native posts directly on Kehilah. Except for native posts, we do not host the underlying media — playback and full content remain on the original platforms under their own terms.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Content & creators

All third-party content displayed in Kehilah belongs to its respective creator or rights-holder. We surface this content as an index and link to the source. Creators may claim, edit, hide, or remove their content via the creator tools or by contacting us. Creators are responsible for native posts they publish on Kehilah and for content from channels they connect.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact hello@kehilah.co with details and we will respond promptly.

4. Messaging

Kehilah includes direct messaging between users and claimed creators. You are responsible for the messages and attachments you send. Do not use messaging to harass, spam, infringe, or share unlawful content. We may remove messages and restrict accounts that violate these Terms, and we may review reported messages to keep the Service safe.

5. Acceptable use and zero tolerance for objectionable content

Do not use the Service to harass, defame, infringe, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access. Do not misrepresent another person or organization.

Kehilah has zero tolerance for objectionable, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content or behavior. By using the Service you agree not to post such content or engage in abusive conduct toward other users.

You can report objectionable content — including posts, comments, and messages — and block abusive users at any time from within the app. We review every report and will remove offending content and remove or ban the responsible user within 24 hours of a report. Blocking a user immediately hides their content from you and prevents them from contacting you.

6. Your data

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by in-app notice.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kehilah disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
